I love these dotted pink shorts on Blythe! And they go so well with the dotted orange blouse. :) Sort of matchy-clashy. This is the first of many cute new outfits you'll see from the Goodwill Outlet bins last Saturday!

Blythe's Thrifted Outfit: Dotted and Flared

Barbie Jeans, Dotted Doll Shirt, Purse: Goodwill Outlet

I love the fit of this polka-dotted doll shirt on Blythe. I think it was made for larger dolls, but the oversize fit reminds me of the shirts you find so often at Forever 21. As for the Barbie jeans, they fit perfectly except the long length. But who wants to hem awesome bell bottoms to make them ordinary? Not me!

Blythe's Thrifted Outfit: Tomboy/ Rock Star

Boy Doll Sweater, Cut-offs: Goodwill Outlet; Guitar, Dollar Tree

It has been pretty chilly in Richmond this past week, so I thought it was fitting to put Blythe in a thrifted boy doll sweater with last week's cut-offs. For a rock star edge, I picked up this former party favor at Dollar Tree. As a guitar player/ tomboy-at-heart myself, I could see myself throwing on a human-sized version of this outfit in an instant.

Blythe's Thrifted Outfit: Treasure Trolls

Vintage Barbie Troll Shirt; Doll Cut-offs; Both: Goodwill Outlet (<$1)

I was excited to snatch up this 80s Treasure Trolls Barbie shirt at Goodwill Outlet a couple weeks ago! I'm always on the lookout for doll shirts, since they're harder to find than dresses and closer to something I'd wear. This outfit is definitely more my style than what I usually find for Blythe!

I'm so glad it's Friday. :) Almost thrift time!

Blythe's Thrifted Outfit: So Seventies

Vintage Doll Top and Bell Bottoms, Goodwill Outlet (<$1)

With all the 70-esque fashion floating around, I couldn't resist these super bell-bottom pants for Blythe! They are way more psychedelic and literally disco than you might want to wear, but for a doll- why not?

This outfit would be perfect for today's weather, too- it is supposed to be over 80 degrees! We'll be back to cooler weather over the weekend, but today it's summer outside. :)

Blythe's Thrifted Outfit

Vintage Barbie Dress, Antique Shop in Florida ($2); New Pink Computer Chair, Goodwill ($8)

Here was the perfect opportunity to show off this neat old Barbie dress on Blythe and my newly thrifted pink computer chair. (It was a particularly dark and rainy day yesterday, and this was pretty much my only photo option, in other words!)

First, the dress was a cool find from an antique shop near my parent's house when we were down there for Thanksgiving. It's a tad big on Blythe, but I like the print on it for spring!

The chair was an awesome and timely find, since I loveeeee my vintage ice cream chair but can't sit on it comfortably for more than a couple minutes! Now my pretty Valentine's day chair is doing what it does best- looking good- and my new computer chair is cute and pink and comfy. Win-win.

Happy Friday! I have to work tomorrow morning, but then I'll be off to the thrift shops with the hubby since he has the day off for once! I'm excited to go with him again. :)

Blythe's Thrifted Outfit

Doll Hat; Paw-Print Romper; Both: Goodwill Outlet (<$1)

This week, Blythe's outfit reflects the changing of the seasons here in Richmond. It has been back-and-forth with the freezing temps and the warm days, but yesterday was warm enough for a romper and a spring-like hat.

The wind was super-strong, but only Blythe's hair got a little ruffled- there was no tumbling off the 2nd floor balcony :)

For today's Blythe's outfit picture was taken in front of my favorite vintage doctor's bag, which I scored at Goodwill Outlet for two bucks awhile ago. Fittingly, every piece of her outfit is also from G.O. :)

It's always a fun game searching out vintage doll clothes in the bins, and the day I found both of these was a major score!

Blythe's Thrifted Outfit

So, I've finally come up with a new Friday series to replace Guy Finds Friday :)

My cute little Blythe doll will be my model for her thrifted clothes every Friday from now on! Here's her first outfit:

The coat is a little big for Blythe, but I think it looks like a chic Snuggie :) I haven't been able to find many pairs of doll shoes for her, but I'm keeping a lookout! There are plenty more thrifted vintage outfits to share!
