The Labyrinth!

One of those things that I always thought was cool but never really had was a labyrinth. When I spotted a really nice wooden one in the Goodwill Outlet bins, I had to try it out!

The verdict? At $2, totally worth it! Although I have to say that it's a lot prettier than it is easy to use.

There's a little 'start' area, and I've gotten about three holes past that every time I've tried! Have any of you ever been more successful at one? If so, I might just have to invite you over to show me the tricks!

Amanda

Play Hockey. Keep Teeth.

Probably my most favorite find from Saturday I haven't shown you all yet: my 1970s Ideal brand Hockey game!

I found this little gem at Love of Jesus, and since it didn't have a price on it, I was only charged $1! It's amazing, and all that was missing was the little ball it was supposed to come with. I found a bag of marbles at the antique store that same day for $1, and I was set!

The only problem with this totally awesome, fooseball-type game? I happen to kind of stink at it! I have challenged the hubby to games every night since we got it, and I always lose. It's funny how competitive we get playing a silly little game, but it's intense. (Or, as intense as a little kid's toy from the 70s can be!)

I love it, though. I have a feeling it will be with us for some time. At least long enough for me to beat the hubby at just one darn game!

Have a great Wednesday :)

Always,
Amanda

Board Games and Shoes

I don't know about you, but I love board games! Especially the old-fashioned ones. And when I found a mint-condition, still in the wrapper Boggle from the 70s, I snatched it up happily.

Other things I love finding at thrift stores are brand-new shoes. Vintage shoes are really fun and great, but there's just something about finding unworn shoes for $2! Especially super-cute woven Kimchi and Blue ones from Urban Outfitters :)

More of Saturday's finds tomorrow! I hope everyone has a great day :)
