Necklaces and Bowling Shoes

Although my Docs are by far my favorite purchase from Saturday, I also got some "bowling" shoes. (Quotations because, although they look just like bowling shoes, they have a tag that says "not for bowling"!)

But, first, let me show you my cute new necklaces and bracelet from Thrifty Quaker, $1 each:

Bowling shoes, Goodwill Outlet ($2)

Hope you all have a great day! I am excited because I have tomorrow off for Veteran's Day :)

A Coach Bag For Me :)

As you all have seen from my posts, I have been really lucky finding vintage Coach bags at Goodwill Outlet. However, most of them have proven too small for the amount of stuff I like to carry around.

But Saturday, this changed! Along with a bunch of other treasures at G.O., I found this Coach bag:
It's actually big enough to carry my junk around in! And I love the front compartment- it's the perfect size to hold the paper I edited this weekend for a friend. Just for fun, another find this weekend, from Love of Jesus:
Lol. I'm pretty sure I'm going to put this on my keyring, if only for a good chuckle every time I reach for my keys.

I found some other great stuff- I'll post my necklaces and crazy shoes tomorrow; my really cute new coat Wednesday :)

Amanda

Call The Doc!

I had a really good thrift day yesterday, especially (as I could've predicted) at Goodwill Outlet. Not only did I find two more vintage Coach purses, but I found the most perfect Doc Martins! In my size! For $2!

I know it is fairly easy to find Docs at thrift stores, but it is hard to find them in almost-new condition, in your size, for $2. Man, am I happy :)

Now, don't get mad at me or think I'm crazy, but I also got...another Samsonite train case. I couldn't resist. For $3, it's light blue and so cute. I just plain love them. (Of course, my hubby thinks I am very strange indeed to have this obsession, but oh well!)

And here are my lovely Docs:

Ahhhh. Have a great rest of your weekend :)

Amanda

My Thrifting Outfit: Eleven Seven

I had an excellent day of thrifting today, with plenty of treasures found. I felt so good in what I wore that I think it gave me some good thrifting karma!

Shirt, Goodwill; Cardie, Goodwill Outlet; Dooney & Bourke Bag, Goodwill; Pins, Good Samaritan; Belt, Goodwill; Jeans, Goodwill; Boots, Wal Mart

(Please excuse the blob-type thing in the bottom left corner...that's my hubby! This was my favorite pic, though, so blob it is!)

Have a great rest of your Saturday, everyone! I'll have more tomorrow, promise :)

Always,
Amanda

"Yes, that's my fave store."

Is it just me, or has it been a long couple of weeks? Yeah. But anyway, back to the thrift!

I am so excited to go to my thrifts today, but I am especially jazzed to go to Goodwill Outlet. Someone at work asked me what my favorite store was, and I automatically said G.O. (Yes, they thought that was weird!)

But it really is. I have found so many great things there, including three Vera Bradley bags, the coolest briefcase, black peep-toes, soooo much more...and this:

This is the second vintage Coach purse I've found there! I love the look of them, although they are a little small for my super-large-bag-loving self. This one is destined for my almost-open Etsy store (just a few more weeks!)

Hope you all have an excellent weekend :)

Amanda

Fallin' For Funky Footwear

Since my old computer decided to up and die on me, I lost this week's thrift by color collage :(

So how about some funky shoes instead?

And here are some crazy-cool sandals/booties/shoes? that I got the other day at Goodwill! I think I may get to wear them once or twice before it gets too cold for awhile, but they will def be coming back out in the spring!

Have a great Friday, everyone! I am going to my fave thrifts this weekend, and I am probably staying with the in-laws, but I will try my best to post Saturday and Sunday :)

Always,
Amanda

A Shameless Twilight Post

Today I have a final Saturday find- a teen Vogue from 2007 that was Kristen Stewart's first magazine cover, pre-Twilight fame.

I am a Twilight fan, mostly of the books, but also of the movie (soon-to-be movies!). And when I saw this at Family Thrift for 25 cents, I grabbed it! It was so funny to read her interview from back then. And I love the cover photo.

In other news, my little baby computer broke, and I got a new HUGE one!!! Yay! It is so nice to see my blog on a super-big screen :)

Have a great Thursday :)

Always,
Amanda
