My Thrifting Outfit: Military + Zebra

I was sooooo excited to find a military-inspired wool coat at Plato's Closet for ten bucks!!!! I've been looking for a good-quality, warm coat all winter, and this one is my dream come true :)

And when I think 'military coat' what comes to mind to go with it? A bright blue cardigan and a zebra shirt! Anyone with me?

Ray Bans, Goodwill in Pensacola; Zebra Shirt, Jeans, Cardigan, Scarf, and Vintage Whiting & Davis Bag, Goodwill Richmond; Jack Purcell for Converse Shoes, JCrew Warehouse Sale; Coat, Plato's Closet
I don't ever wear these jeans that I picked up at my local Goodwill a couple months ago. They're tricky to style for a short person like me, but they're thick and warm so I gave it a try! I think I'll mostly stick to my boot-cut jeans, but every once in awhile it's nice to rock some wide-leg ones!

On another note, I found some awesome things at Goodwill Outlet yesterday :) Just little things, but they're pretty cool!

Have a fantastic Sunday, everyone :)

Always,
Amanda

  3. Lovely coat! I need to a pay a visit to Plato's Closet...been too long. Do you know of a chain called "The Buffalo Exchange?" We have one here in Philly. They're like a Plato's Closet for a slightly older crowd...and I think there's a more hipster feel to it. I enjoy it!
