U.S.

So, on Sunday I went on a little adventure (aka: got a tiny bit lost) and ended up at this cool monthly "estate sale" in a huge old building. You walk around and there are a ton of rooms filled with neat old stuff!

The only problem was that pretty much nothing had prices, so I only grabbed a couple things. When I finally ended up at the end checkout counter, I had this cool old bag, and a couple things for the hubby.

The checkout lady looked for a price, and when there wasn't one, she asked what room I had gotten it in. I couldn't remember! There were a ton of rooms! So I kind of guessed the bag's location, and she said regretfully, "I'm going to have to charge you four dollars for it..."

I want to know in what kind of world is four dollars too much for a super-awesome old U.S. bag??? Not in my world, and I live in a pretty cheap world where clothes are bought for $1.50 a pound at Goodwill Outlet!

It's always fun to find cool places like that off the beaten path :)

Have a great Tuesday!

Always,
Amanda

PS: If anyone local is interested, the monthly "estate sale" is located at 1601 Overbrook Road, Richmond, VA one weekend a month. The next dates are May 8th 10:30-5:00 and 9th noon-4:00.

PPS: I saw The Runaways last night, and it was pretty good :)

  2. Hi Amanda...I absolutely ADORE estate sales. They even take precedence over yard sales because usually the merchandise is better quality. Love your bag! Sincerely, Susan

P.S. Glad you saw the Runaways! I really thought Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning were amazing, did you?
