Flannel, Salvation Army in NC; Jacket, Goodwill; Jeans, Goodwill; Socks, Dollar Tree; Loafers, Family Thrift; Dooney and Bourke Bag, Goodwill Outlet
I'm not sure why my face is so washed-out looking! Well, other than the fact that I'm pretty pale right now...
Anyway, I had pretty good luck thrifting yesterday, although I didn't find any of the main things I was looking for. With a budget of $15 total, I did find an iZone Polaroid camera and film, a label maker and label tape, a carpetbag purse, a bag of jewelry, a 1950s edition Beezus and Ramona book, a shirt for the hubby, and a Mickey Mouse sweatshirt for me.
So, not bad :) I hope everyone has a great Sunday!
Always,
Amanda
Ahhh, I love thrifting. I really wish there were more thirt stores where I live. I like goodwill but get irritated with their prices. I mean 6.99 for dresses? why? I want to go where you live and get all of those amazing things for $15!!!

Yeah, the regular Goodwill around here is the same way..overpricing everything! That's why I love the Goodwill Outlet and the local thrifts-the prices seem to stay low and you can always find great things! You can try thethriftshopper.com to search for other thrift stores closer to you!
ReplyDeleteI noticed the Goodwill store always has higher prices than the other thrift shops, even the Salvaition Army. In my travels up into central Jersey, I found a giant store that had skirts for like $2.50, shirts for less, jeans like $5...and every day 50% off certain color...insane! Basically a thrifters dream.
ReplyDeletelove the outfit effect. you look great!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Hillary! I feel like that outfit is very 'me' so that means a lot :)
