My Thrifting Outfit: Faded Out(fit)

Although the outfit pictures I took yesterday turned out weird, I did like this (also strange) one:

Flannel, Salvation Army in NC; Jacket, Goodwill; Jeans, Goodwill; Socks, Dollar Tree; Loafers, Family Thrift; Dooney and Bourke Bag, Goodwill Outlet
I'm not sure why my face is so washed-out looking! Well, other than the fact that I'm pretty pale right now...

Anyway, I had pretty good luck thrifting yesterday, although I didn't find any of the main things I was looking for. With a budget of $15 total, I did find an iZone Polaroid camera and film, a label maker and label tape, a carpetbag purse, a bag of jewelry, a 1950s edition Beezus and Ramona book, a shirt for the hubby, and a Mickey Mouse sweatshirt for me.

So, not bad :) I hope everyone has a great Sunday!

Always,
Amanda

  1. Ahhh, I love thrifting. I really wish there were more thirt stores where I live. I like goodwill but get irritated with their prices. I mean 6.99 for dresses? why? I want to go where you live and get all of those amazing things for $15!!!

  2. Yeah, the regular Goodwill around here is the same way..overpricing everything! That's why I love the Goodwill Outlet and the local thrifts-the prices seem to stay low and you can always find great things! You can try thethriftshopper.com to search for other thrift stores closer to you!

  3. I noticed the Goodwill store always has higher prices than the other thrift shops, even the Salvaition Army. In my travels up into central Jersey, I found a giant store that had skirts for like $2.50, shirts for less, jeans like $5...and every day 50% off certain color...insane! Basically a thrifters dream.
