My Thrifting Outfit: Polka-Stripes!

Sunday was a pretty laid-back day for me. With the hubby working, I decided to act a little out of character and check out some yard sales before hitting an estate sale. While I didn't hit the jackpot, it was interesting for sure!

More on my finds tomorrow, but here's what I wore Sunday:

Striped T, Love of Jesus; Jeans, Goodwill; Tstrap Vintage Dexter Flats, Goodwill Outlet; Scarf, Goodwill Outlet; Sunnies, Good Samaritan; Vintage Coach Purse, Goodwill Outlet; Bangle, Good Samaritan
 (100% Thrifted!)

Since posting my thrifted outfits, I feel like I'm getting better at just being myself and wearing things I love. When you can afford to get more clothes (since they cost so little at thrift stores!), you can take more chances and it's easier to find your style. I may not be the most 'fashionista-type' girl on the block, but I do have my own thrifty, tomboyish-with-a-girlie-flair style :)

We're off to Florida this morning!!! I won't have internet most of the time, but I'll try to get some Florida posts in with the scheduled Richmond ones :)

Bon Voyage!

Always,
Amanda

  1. I have seen the polka dots and stripes thing in Lucky mag! I like the subtle-ness of the stripes and dots in the same color family!

  2. So glad you're getting comfortable wearing what you like! That's the best part of blogging, I think. I'm not exactly adventurous in my dress, either, but like you I've gotten completely comfortable wearing whatever I please. And I definitely think that you have your own quirky cuteness going on. Plus you find really adorable stuff even beyond clothing!
